One size cloth diapers, custom fit for larger kiddos.
Some toddlers and kids with special needs have to use and still want the benefits of reusable diapers. The Big O.N.E diaper is the perfect solution for bigger and older kids. It comes with everything you need to cloth diaper your toddler.
This cloth diaper for toddlers still has some of the same quality and features parents love about our original, best-selling O.N.E. diaper:
Before laundering, dispose of the solids. Remove the Outlast Closure Hook/Loop strips before placing Big O.N.E. in your diaper pail. We recommend removing Soaker Pads before placing them in the diaper pail so that each piece of the diaper is optimally agitated. Choose warm or hot water and enough of your favorite good-cleaning detergent.
To cloth diaper full-time with the Big O.N.E. Diaper, you will spend between $600-$650. Remember that you’re saving 5x that by not buying disposables. To use the Big O.N.E. Diaper as your child's overnight cloth diaper, you will spend just over $100.
For full-time cloth diapering, we recommend at least 24 diaper changes per child to best spread wear out among all the diapers in your supply.
For using the Big O.N.E. as your child's overnight cloth diaper, we recommend having at least 4-6 as nighttime cloth diapers.
Just how BIG is a BIG O.N.E?
Well let me tell you a bit about myself first. I'm a very thin framed adult that suffers from incontinence, I'm always on the search for top notch products.
I am 6' and 135lbs with a 29" waist, and yes, .....I wear Big O.N.E.'s!!! They are THAT BIG!!!
That's not to say they won't fit your little one, they are very stretchy, and have many fastening positions available to get a great fit for a large range of body shapes and sizes, no matter the age.
For me, Big O.N.E's are a very discreet low rise option that sits just below my pants line. When they say 'For Heavy Wetter's" they mean it! These are some extremely thirsty diapers. I can actually sleep for up to 6 hours and still wake up to a dry bed, and still feel dry too...simply AMAZING!
I do wish they would come out with a "Bigger O.N.E" version, geared more towards the 70 -125lb range, for nights that I may sleep more than 6 hours. Perhaps 4" more rise, 3" more rear wings, 6" longer hour glass shaped channeled snap in pads?
I purchased these for my 3.5 year old daughter, who weighs about 30lbs to wear during naps and to bed. They’re huge! So I rarely put them on her, as I feel they’re too bulky. Instead, I’ve been putting her in the grovia trainers with the extended elastics for naps (forgive me for not knowing the actual name of the products). At night, we reluctantly use disposable diapers, and will likely do so until she gets a bit bigger, and these fit better.
But as a review for the product, they’re extremely absorbent, and would recommend, so long as they fit your little (big) one.
I LOVE THE BIG ONE DIAPER! My 2 year old is in the 99% for height/weight (35 lbs, 3 ft 4 inch) and was on the brink of outgrowing a size 7 disposable diaper. The BIG ONE is the perfect solution for saving the environment/money in the long run, not relying on the delayed supply chain, and has provided me with a custom fit for my larger toddler. My only criticism is I wish it was 100% cotton, but my toddler has not had a diaper rash since using the diapers.
