GroVia Warranty Coverage
GroVia products are designed for durability and long-term use. Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and varies by component and purchase date.
Snap Warranty
GroVia offers a lifetime warranty on snaps for purchases made after 3/1/2026. Defective snaps within the first year qualify for round-trip repair coverage. After one year, snaps damaged from normal wear may be repaired at no cost for the snap repair, with return shipping paid by the customer.
Elastic Warranty
Elastics are covered by a 6 month warranty against manufacturing defects such as detached or improperly sewn elastic. Elastic that has degraded due to detergent exposure, chemical damage, or normal wear is not covered.
Sewing and Seams
Stitching and seam defects that affect product function are covered for 6 months. Cosmetic top stitching issues or damage from overstretching stitching and/or tabs are not considered defects.
What Is Not Considered a Defect
Leaks or Wicking
Leaks are most commonly caused by absorbency saturation, improper fit, or detergent buildup and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Fit or Sizing Concerns
GroVia diapers are designed to fit a wide range of babies. Most fit concerns can be resolved with sizing adjustments and proper absorbency configuration.
Repelling or Reduced Absorbency
Repelling is typically caused by detergent or residue buildup and can usually be corrected by implementing a proper wash routine, switching to an approved cloth diaper detergent, and stripping old buildup out of diapers if necessary.
Staining or Discoloration
Staining of natural fibers does not affect product performance and is not considered a defect. Most superficial stains can be removed by laying clean, wet diapers in the sun for a couple hours.
Accidental Damage or Wear
Damage caused by excessive heat, improper washing, sharp objects, pets, or general wear and tear is not covered under warranty. Natural fibers wear through much quicker than synthetic fabrics, and is not a defect.
Maintaining Your Warranty
To maximize the lifespan of your GroVia products:
- Avoid soaking diapers or accessories
- Avoid sanitize cycles on waterproof items
- Wash at or below 120°F (49°C)
- Allow elastics to cool before stuffing diapers
- Use recommended detergents and wash routines
Failure to follow care guidelines may lead to premature aging of diapers and failure of waterproofing and elastic materials.
