We just outgrew Newborn AIOs and I was worried the Hybrid system would be too big for my little 3 month old, but these H & L Shells are working perfectly! We've been pairing them with OC Soakers for a trimmer fit and Prefolds for extra absorbency. And I love the color!
I did a ton of research on cloth diapers before my little one was born and landed on GroVia. She was born prematurely so we decided to wait on starting cloth until we settled her in at home and got into a rut hum. By that time we were already in the habit of disposables and were on the fence about actually using the stash of O.N.Es we purchased.
About two months ago, my little one had a relentless rash that would not go away with any sort of diaper balm so i decided to put a cloth on her and she was RASH FREE writhing 24 hours. I was hooked and haven’t looked back since. HIGHLY recommend the O.N.E. We haven’t tried any other GroVia products yet because we haven’t felt the need to so far, if it’s not broke- don’t fix it☺️
Okay, so I've been waiting to write a review until a few months after getting them (and wanted to see what it was like with more solid foods) because I wanted my reivew to be honest. I have had 2 kids prior to my 3rd that were only ever in throw away diapers. My family and I became vegan 3 years ago and have been really trying to be better about our impact on this world, so I knew I wanted to do cloth diapering when I got pregnant with my daughter. Sadly when she was born she started having seizures so we had to stay in the NICU for a month and she wore disposable there. When we got back home I ordered the ONE Diapers, with a few extra things on Amazon and said I was going to do it and stick with it. I believe I ordered 30 because I was nervous I wouldn't have enough, now if I could go back I would only order about 24-26, but hey I'm a newbie. I ordered an attached sprayer for our toilet, and a round multi hanger that goes above the dryer that I hang the diapers off of after they come out of the wash. I use the powder Biokleen powder free & clear and at first I just washed them on a regular cycle. After a few months I decided to try the sanatize button on my washer and feel they clean even better that way. Of course, every washer is different! I hang them instead of doing a tumble cycle in the dryer because to be honest, it doesn't seem like that does anything extra. I wash every other day so I constantly have clean diapers. They are by far the easiest & cutest diapers ever! I have read comments about them leaking but to be honest, these are WAY more absorbent than the throw aways. She has never had a "blow out" but maybe twice that came out of the diaper and just a few pees that leaked through because I thought she needed to go one size bigger with the snaps. She never has any rashes or breakouts with these either but did when she was in the nicu with the throw aways. I didn't use the velcro that came with them, I felt it wasn't needed for her but I see why it would be handy if your babe was in between sizes with the snaps. After I hang and dry them I always roll them to get them softer before I snap them back together. I know people try different brands and branch out but I see no reason to and will only ever buy from Grovia from here on out on any dipaering needs that come up! The one fall back, or negative I guess I can think of is that you can't smell the poop haha which is a good thing but I have to check visually to see if she went or else I have no idea. They never stain (just make sure you use the butt cream that wont stain cloth) and have only gotten more soft the more I've washed them! And let's be honest, they are way cuter than anything else out there!
These are by far our favorite cloth diapers. I don’t mind that they are a little bulky now since she’s still young (3mo) but I love that you can add in extra liners and it makes it super easy to clean being all in one!
We love that we can buy new pads for these durable diapers. I always seem to lose individual pads in washer and then we are short so it helps we can buy more. I also find that new pads make for a brand new diaper. You can't go wrong with these for your diapers. The pads are absorbent and keep baby dry from birth to potty training. We will be buying more to replace the pads in our other diapers.
These are amazing. We were a all in one family till we tried the Grovia prefolds. These absorb so much and keep baby dry. We still use and buy our other Grovia diapers but the refolds are our go to.We absolutely love them.
These are great to add to your diaper for extra absorbency for nighttime or heavy wetters. They are pretty narrow but are fine when added to something else, which is their purpose. I love that they keep baby’s skin dry.
